Specimen Required:

 

 

Collect 3.0 mL (minimum 1.2 mL) of whole blood in a plain, red-top tube(s).  (SERUM GEL TUBE IS NOT ACCEPTABLE.)  Serum for a peak level should be drawn 1 hour after administration of oral tiagabine. Serum for a trough concentration is usually drawn 30 minutes before dose.

Spin, separate and send 1.0 mL (minimum 0.6 mL) of serum frozen.
