	Specimen Required:
		Collect 3.0 mL (minimum 1.2 mL) of whole blood in a plain, red-top tube(s). (SERUM GEL TUBE IS NOT ACCEPTABLE.) Serum for a peak level should be drawn 1 hour after administration of oral tiagabine. Serum for a trough concentration is usually drawn 30 minutes before dose.
		NOTE:	Indicate specimen type (peak or trough) on request form.
	Laboratory Notes:
		Spin, separate and send 1.0 mL (minimum 0.6 mL) of serum frozen.
		NOTE:	1.	Indicate peak or trough in MayoNet
			2.	Label specimen appropriately (peak or trough) on vial.
	Reference Values:
		Peak:		110-520 ng/mL
		Trough:		5-35 ng/mL
