POTASSIUM, TIMED URINE BATTERY
Methodology: Ion-Selective Electrode (ISE)
	Test Performed At:
		St. Louis Children’s Hospital
	Specimen Required:
		Submit an entire timed urine collection in a urine container supplied by St. Louis Children’s Hospital. No preservative. Refrigerate specimen during collection, and send specimen refrigerated.
		NOTE:	1.	Please note start and stop times of collection on container.
			2.	Follow instructions on policies section, “Urine Collection.”
	Laboratory Notes:
		Mix urine well and pour off an aliquot after measuring total volume collected. Spin and separate aliquot. Record total volume collected and collection duration (in minutes) on aliquot container.
