NOTE:

1.

Patients must not have received aspirin or aspirin containing compounds for 10 days prior to testing.

 

 

 

2.

Physician must contact BJ Hemaostatis/Hematology Resident (beeper 424-1154) for approval before this test is ordered.

 

 

Performed and collected by Barnes Jewish Coagulation Technologist.  Patient shoulbd be able to come to the Hematology Laboratory to provide a blood sample.  The test includes platelet aggregation, ADP, epinephrine, Arachideonic Acid, Collegen & ristocetin & platelet serotonin release.
