	Specimen Required:
		Collect 5.0 mL (minimum 2.5 mL) whole blood in a plain, red-top tube(s) immediately before next scheduled dose (minimum 12 hours after last dose). SERUM GEL TUBES ARE NOT ACCEPTABLE.
	Laboratory Notes:
		Spin, separate within 2 hours of draw, and send 3.0 mL (minimum 1.1 mL) of serum refrigerated.
	Reference Values:
		Therapeutic concentration (for specimens drawn at trough): 70-170 ng/mL
		Physician alert value (automatic callback): >500 ng/mL
		NOTE:	Due to an analytical interference, patients taking sertraline may have falsely low results and patients taking clomipramine and amlodipine may have falsely elevated results.
