Microbiology Update 2008
The following weekly report is a listing of pathogens
detected at the St. Louis Children’s Hospital laboratory. Total tests and positive
tests include fluorescent antibody (FA) testing, enzyme immunoassay (EIA)
testing and cultures. This information is provided for use by physicians and
other health-care professionals. If you are a parent reviewing this information
and suspect that your child has any of these viruses, it is important for you
to contact your child’s physician.
