At this time, according to the Missouri State Public Health Laboratory and the CDC, approximately 99% of Influenza A virus detected by the above methods is the novel H1N1 Influenza A (aka swine flu) virus.  Negative Rapid Influenza tests should be confirmed by viral culture or DFA stain.
