	Specimen Required:
		Draw 2.0 mL whole blood in a plain red-top tube(s). (Lavender-top (EDTA) tube(s), Green-top tube(s) and serum gel tubes are also acceptable.)
		NOTE:	1.	THE FOLLOWING SPECIMENS WILL NOT BE TESTED:
				A.	HEAT-TREATED SPECIMENS
				B.	SPECIMENS CONTAINING PARTICULATE MATTER OR RED BLOOD CELLS
			2.	DATE OF DRAW IS REQUIRED ON REQUEST FORM FOR PROCESSING.
	Laboratory Notes:
		If a plain red-top tube(s), lavender-top (EDTA), or (no gel) green-top tube(s) is received, forward to BJ Chemistry. If a serum, or plasma gel tube(s) is received, spin, and separate Into a conical tube and send 2.0 mL (1.0 mL minimum) of serum, or plasma to BJ Chem.
