	Specimen Required:
		Collect 3.0 mL (minimum 0.5 mL) of whole blood in a yellow-top (ACD) tube(s) and send to lab promptly at ambient temperature.
		NOTE:	“Molecular Genetics – Congenital Inherited Diseases Patient Information Sheet” is REQUIRED for all orders and must be sent with specimen.
	Laboratory Notes:
		Send 3.0 mL (minimum 0.5 mL) of whole blood collected in a yellow-top (ACD) tube(s) in the original vacutainer at ambient temperature.
		NOTE:	1.	Specimen must arrive within 96 hours of collection.

		An interpretive report which will include a risk analysis (probability of being a carrier) will be provided.
