Tissue

 

 

10 cm3 fresh frozen tissue. Send specimen frozen in plastic container or 10, 10-micron slices of paraffin embedded tissue in a sterile.

Blood

 

 

Draw 3.0 – 5.0 ml of whole blood in a lavender-top (EDTA) tube or Yellow-top (ACD) tube.  Send specimen at ambient temperature.

Bone Marrow

 

 

Place 1-2 ml of bone marrow in a lavender-top (EDTA) tube. Invert several times to mix bone marrow. Forward promptly at ambient temperature. DO NOT FREEZE.
