	Specimen Required:
		Collect 5.0 mL (minimum 2.0 mL) of whole blood in a serum gel tube(s) or a plain, red-top tube(s); send to lab.
	Laboratory Notes:
		Spin, separate and send a minimum of 1.0 ml serum.
	Reference Values:
		No abnormal restricted peaks in beta- or gamma-regions
		Albumin:		3.1-4.2 g/d
		Alpha-1:		0.1-0.4 g/dL
		Alpha-2:		0.4-0.9 g/dL
		Beta:		0.6-1.3 g/dL
		Gamma:		0.9-1.8 g/dL
		Restricted peaks		0.0-0.0
		Interpretation: No monoclonal peaks detected
