	Specimen Required:
		Draw 2.0 mL (pediatric: 0.3 mL green SAMPLETTE™ or MICROTAINER®) of whole blood in a red-top, green-top separator or plain, red-top tube(s) following an overnight (12-14 hour) fast. Patient should be following ordinary eating habits and not be acutely ill, losing weight, pregnant, or had a myocardial infarction within 3 months.

		Spin and separate.

		0-1 year:	50-120 mg/dL
		1-2 years:	70-190 mg/dL
		2-16 years:	120-220 mg/dL
		>16 years:	0-199 mg/dL
