30 minutes after completion of infusion of an intravenous dose or 60 minutes
after an intramuscular or oral dose of the antimicrobial to be assayed. Blood
for trough levels should be drawn no earlier than 60 minutes prior to next
dose. Random specimens are also acceptable |
